What is Vector Conversion?
Vector Conversion is the art of converting raster images to vector format. Bitmap images are made up of pixels, and cannot be scaled up effectively. VECTOR images are created by the numerical coordinates that are contained within the file. Vector images can be scaled up or down infinitely without the loss of resolution and are much smaller files compared to bitmap files. Vector images also allow you to change color and edit individual elements with ease. Vector artwork is simply comprised of lines (wireframe) that represent the objects. Vector images are usually created with the drawing program such as CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator or Freehand.

Who can use this service?
Anybody who has a Logo/Artwork in raster format will need the logo converted to vector. More often than not, a piece of letterhead or a business card is offered as "art" for a logo. Rarely is it a digital file. If it is a digital file, it is usually a raster image (.tiff, .jpeg, .bmp, etc . . .) The best choice for logos and other line art is an EPS file (Encapsulated Post Script). EPS files are typically generated from vector based programs such as Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia Freehand, or CorelDraw. EPS files are fully scaleable and are not susceptible to distortion. Also, spot colors are easily specified in vector programs, which comes in handy if your project is not going to be produced in 4-color process.

• You will receive a quote for the same asking for cost approval

• You send us a confirmation approving the cost. Now, sit back and relax.

• We will convert your file and put up a viewable JPG version of the vector converted file online for you to approve along with a link to our secure (verisign certified) payment gateway.

• If you approve of the proof, you make the payment online using your credit card. (We accept all major credit cards.)

What is the turnaround time?
The turnaround time for one single file is generally our 3 working days. For volume orders, we shall intimate the turnaround time when we receive your enquiry. We do accommodate urgent requests (same day turnaround) at an additional cost of $15 USD. If you were to take up a Business Account, you can get a 24 hour turnaround.

How will I receive the files I ordered for?
The files you ordered for will be sent to you as an attachement to email. If the file size is large to be sent as an attachment, it would be put up on our server and you will receive the FTP details to download the files.

How do I make the payment?
Our customers normally pay by using our VeriSign certified online payment gateway. However if the transaction value is more than $500 / month then we will request for a bank wire transfer. The terms are designed to reduce risk for both parties until the working relationship earns trust and credibility.
